MRS OLUBUSOLA AJIBOLA ABIDAKUN-Director, Admin. and Human Resources.

Mrs. Olubusola Ajibola Abidakun (nee Olatunji) was born on the 12th of January, 1967 to Professor (Ven. Revd.) Olatunde O. Olatunji, a retired professor of Linguistics and African languages in the University of Ibadan and Mrs Adenike O. Olatunji, a retired Head Teacher from the famous Ifederu family of Ketu-Epe.

She had her primary school education in Newcastle on Tyne, England, after which she proceeded to St. Louis Convent School, Ibadan where she obtained her West African School Leaving Certificate in 1983.

She was admitted into the premier University of Ibadan in 1985 and graduated in 1989 with B.A (Hons) English with specialty in Linguistics and Stylistics. She obtained a Masters in English from the University of Ibadan, in 1991 and a Masters in Business Administration from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in 2000. Presently, she is concluding a Masters in Industrial Relations and Human Resource from the University of Lagos.

Olubusola Abidakun’s career spans through the Media Houses where she was a copywriter with Insight Communications/MC&A Saatchi and Saatchi, the Public Relations industry as the P.R.O to the Chairman, Murhi International Conglomerate, Banking as a Corporate Affairs Officer/Operations Officer at the former Eko International Bank, now Skye Bank Plc from 1992-2001 when she joined the Lagos State Public Service.

Right from when she assumed duty in the Lagos State Public Service as a Senior Administrative Officer, GL 10 on 1st March, 2002, she has played key roles in the following:
2003.Co-coordinator, National Council on Establishments, 2003.
2004.Secretary, Launching of Red Cabs by the Ministry of Transportation (first of its kind in Nigeria) 2005.
•Member/Secretary, Lagos Metro Line Committee under the leadership of Tpl. Abdul, 2006.
2010.Member/Welfare Officer on Study Tour of Mega Cities to Singapore and Dubai 2010.
2011.Secretary, Stakeholders Forum of the Central Business Districts, 2013.
2012.Sole IBTC Nominee of Lagos State Government for Workshop on Pensions Administration in Dubai, 2015.
•Head Initiator of the use of ORACLE Numbers as Examination Numbers in Year 2016 Promotion Examinations.
•Member, Implementation Working Group and Team Lead to six (6) MDAs, 2016.
1.Secretary/ Member of several high level ad-hoc Committees.

Her administrative skills have been honed through traversing the Ministries of Establishments and Training, Transportation, Home Affairs, Deputy Governor’s Office, Central Business Districts, Project Implementation Office and presently, the Civil Service Commission. Based on her versatile experience, the former Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola SAN appointed her as a Member of the Governing Council of the Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC) in 2015.

She is a professional member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management where she holds a practicing license (HRPL).

Mrs Abidakun has facilitated at various State and Local Governments levels on matters spanning Human Resource, Workforce Planning and Target Setting. An articulate and eloquent speaker, she is highly proactive, efficient and a multitasker who delivers even under pressure.

She is a devout Christian and is married with wonderful children
