
Hodewu Suru Avoseh, is a professional teacher and a seasoned politician.
He is an alumna of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso in Oyo State, where he obtained Masters in Public Administration (MPA). In 2012. He commenced the Executive Course in Public Health at Harvard School of Public Health, Harvard University, Boston, USA.
He started his career as a teacher at the St. Patrick’s (RCM) School, Iragbo-Iragbon, Badagry, in 1981 and also taught in the Methodist Primary School Erekiti-Badagry till 1996 when he voluntarily retired.
He ventured into active politics as a Special Adviser, Legislative Matters, to the Badagry Local Government Council, Chairman, from 2000-2002. He also served as Constituency Officer to Hon. Setonji Gbemenu Koshoedo, the then Member of the House of Representatives from 2003-2007.
With his wealth of experience, he represented his constituents, Badagry Constituency 02, as a Two-term Honourable Member in the Lagos State House of Assembly, 2007-2015,
Avoseh is a member of these Professional Bodies: Fellow Public Administration of Nigeria (FPA), as well as Member, Institute of Chartered Professional Managers (ICPM).
The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babjide Sanwo-Olu appointed him as Commissioner of the Lagos State Civil Service Commission in view of his tract records.
He is married and blessed with children.
