Mr. Tiamiyu Babatunde Seriki — Commissioner III

Barrister Babatunde Tiamiyu Seriki was born on the 30th day of March 1965 in Epe, Lagos State to Alhaji Arazim Ishola Seriki. His mother was Alhaja Afisat Ayinke Seriki. He attended UNA Primary School, Idikan, Ibadan; he also attended Baptist Day School, Kigo Road, Kaduna and Methodist Boys School, Jos.

He attended Epe Grammar School from 1969 to 1971. He transferred to Awori Ajeromi Grammar School, Agboju, Apapa from 1971 to 1073 where he passed his West African School Certificate Examination.

In 1976, he proceeded to the Ibadan Polytechnic where he did his 2-YEAR Advanced Level Course (HSC) and passed the examination conducted by Cambridge University, London.

He was admitted into the University of Ife Now Obafemi Awolowo University in October 1978 where he studied Law. He graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Law in 1981 after which he then proceeded to the Nigerian Law School for his professional’s course where he bagged the Bachelor of Laws and was called to the Nigerian Bar in July 1982.

Barrister Seriki did his NYSC Programme in Lagos State at the Securities Department of the United Bank for Africa Plc.

He started his Law practice in the firm of Abiola Oshodi & Co. of No. 24, Breadfruit Street, Lagos.

He established his own Law Firm-Tunde Seriki &Co. in 1978 and has been in private Legal practice until November 2019 when he was appointed a Commissioner in the Lagos State Civil Service Commision by Governor Babajide Sanwolu.

Otunba Babatubde Seriki is a politician who practices his trade in Epe and he is one of the Leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Epe Local Government.

He is married to Barrister Abiola Seriki and they are blessed with children.
