
Mr. Adesina Mohammed Odeyemi, a coach, mentor and an encyclopedia of establishment and public policy matters.
He is alumna of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo –Lagos State.
He started his career in 1995 with the Lagos State Public Service as a classroom teacher at Awodi-Ora Secondary School in Ajegunle where he served for over 11 years.
In his quest to exhibit his innate leadership qualities and make the best of his newly acquired administrative skills, his service was transferred into the main stream civil service as an Administrative Officer and deployed to the Ministry of Establishments, Training and Pensions. Thereafter, he was appointed as the Private Secretary to the Head of Service, Alhaji Rafiu Babatunde Tinubu, he also diligently served in this capacity with two Heads of Service, Mr. Akinsanya Sunny Ajose and Hon. Yakub Abiodun Balogun respectively.
In 2008, he was appointed Director, Finance and Administration and posted to the Office of Local Government Establishments, Training and Pensions where he made reputable landmarks
In the repositioning of the Local Governments and Local Council Development Areas for the Local Government elections, he was posted to Ojodu Local Council Development Area as Executive Secretary. The uniqueness of his administrative style, his simplicity, doggedness and uncommon zeal for excellence was his trademark
Upon his appointment as Permanent Secretary in August 2015, Mr. Adesina Odeyemi served in the Office of the Head of Service/Public Service Office (PSO), before his retirement.
For his sterling performances during his civil service career, the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babjide Sanwo-Olu appointed him as Commissioner of the Lagos State Civil Service Commission.
He is happily married and blessed with children
