Mrs Oyemade Adeyinka Taiwo was born in Lagos Island on the 26th of November, 1948.She attended University of Lagos where she obtained B.Sc. (Hon) Education (Biology). She started her career as a class room teacher in 1975 at Aunty Ayo Comprehensive High School. She was a Principal between 1990-2008 at Girls Academy, Lagos; Isale Eko Grammar School (1998-1999); Holy Child College, (1999-2001); Eko Akete Grammar School ,2001 -2005; and Lagos State Senior; Model College, Badore,2005-2007respectively.She is a professional member of Nigeria Union of Teacher, Science Teacher Association of Nigeria and Member, Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria.

In the Year 2010 she became a Tutor-General/Permanent Secretary, Education District III, 2007.A diligent and hardworking, brain builder, Mrs Oyemade is a member of many Professional Associations, A fellow Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria; Member, Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria, Chairman ANCOPSS- Lagos Island and Lagos State respectively, Member, Governing Council of Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education2005/2007 to mention but a few.

This astute Administrator is a recipient of so many awards amongst which are: Principal Emeritus of Nigeria; Certificate of Excellence-National Union of Teachers, Lagos State wing, Award presented by UBA on best performance in Education in Lagos State, Plaque on Effective Leadership by Union Bank Officers Wives Association and the Best Principal of the Year,1995.

Between 1975-1990, Mrs Oyemade Adeyinka Taiwo attended Professional Conference, amongst which are: Science Teacher Association of Nigeria, Lagos State contingent to Singapore to understudy Technical & Vocational Education System in Singapore, Annual National Congress of ANCOPSS in Abia, Enugu, and Anambra respectively.
